You would think that being in the Pyrenees that I would have gone camping. Did it on a summer canoe trip with other pups. All Zi got was shivers from the rain and learned Bridge with Cards.

Have you ever been camping?

Then Bassie and her friend Princess, a Black Lab went on a canoe trip in the Minnesota Boundary Waters. Didn’t camp. Stayed at an updated cabin while the mosquitoes were outside.

Camping with mosquitoes is terrible.

So I prefer not camping with the gear and stay in a cozy cabin.

Camping is not forevery one. My spouse camping days ended when she sprained her foot in a camping trip. Got out of the campgrounds by a being lifted into a wheel barrow with gear.

Life has strange ways of working. After a twenty seven year history she passed away. Always had trouble with her feet. She died of Parkinson’s. In the dog world she is represented by a sweet Bassett Hound who would dream of dancing. We did take trips at times with her walker.

I’m so sorry for your loss it seems like you speak from an area of peace. I only hope I can too get to that spot in my grief.

I lost my mom 3 years ago 8 days before my 30th bday. So now I’m the oldest and I have to figure out how to get my sisters to the right place in life etc without any guidance.

I don’t have the answers and I am not ready to be the one who is supposed to have them. I’m also transgender in America so that’s been extra fun this last few months. But that’s just the footnotes for you.

It sounds as though you have it extra rough. In the world we are living in when people get in your way all one can do is the best. My belief that through reading and learning you will be able to support your Sisters. Also, though I am leary of therapists they can be helpful if you speak honestly from your heart.

My spouse was a therapist and when she got ill she used HIPPA and called the police on me for being mean. Twas very difficult. Now I am dealing with no support from my Sister.

Hope you are in a good place with your Sisters and family.

I find therapy and release in poetry thankfully I however am sadly not the type that benefits from therapy. Outside of poetry and close bonds and the occasional anomaly I’m not very open and chit chatty about my feelings. It’s a character flaw.

You should give yourself credit for doing as well since you come across coherent. You have been open to a complete stranger?

Not a complete stranger face to face but online more than once yes. Sorry , for the lack of punctuation and grammar mishaps I just got off of my 5th twelve hour shift in a row and nursing homes can be brutal feom time to time.

Glad you are finding meaning working in a nursing home. Keep it going and I will continue to post.
