“ I was allowed to nap and given breaks at the house when the art teacher came over. He gave my owner when I was a pup oil painting lessons. He would do oil portraits in the style of the “ Ash Can” movement. The colors were burnt sienna, Persian blue, raw sienna and ultramarines blue.

This lasted ten years. Now all he does now is having me carry pencils for sketching.

The teacher was a jazz buff from his days at Pratt College. He even got around to taking him to see his friends with the Duke Ellington Band.”
